Each of the 3 preludes can be performed a) individually, b) in a pairing with either of the remaining two or c) within the complete set. In the event of pairings or the complete set, order of appearance is at the discretion of pianist.

The performer should note that I intentionally maintained a continuity of harmonic content and motivic material between each piece so that the theme & variations form of "It Gets Complicated" can be inferred loosely, but globally as well, when any two or all three preludes are performed in one sitting.
