For the past year or so I have been working hard on relocating to New York. My logic is that many of my recent performances, and music opportunities in general, have originated there and as a consequence, it just makes sense to be where I can best build on my success without the concern of extensive travel.
Last month, MTV offered me a position at their Broadcast Center out on Long Island. So now the means to take that crucial next step are in place and I couldn't be more excited!
Because my history is so deeply rooted in the Midwest, it will take some time to get settled, but I already have several exciting projects lined up with deadlines at year's end. The most interesting and tangible of these will be a new piece for pianist Nicola Melville. You can find out more about Nikki on my links page. She will premiere the resulting work either later this year or early next. A CD and published score will be available shortly thereafter. Several other composers are part of the project as well, many of them well-established so I will be in excellent company.
Please continue to visit as this and other music news unfolds. And thanks again for taking interest.
Keep in touch!
All Best,
